Dreaming....

I found this site today. I am really, really hoping that I will get to see this area in a couple of months. Our trip to Britain in May is in the planning stages and I'm hoping that my aunt is a big Pride and Prejudice fan because Cat and I sure qualify as official Darcy fans.

Brooding Yumminess.

Aside from Keira Knightley's lisp, and the fact that only Colin Firth can ever really be Darcy? Perfect.

Lia,

I think it's more of her teeth that cause the "lisping" and not a true lisp, but yeah, I know what you're talking about.

And I saw this P & P before I saw the BBC one, so Mr. Matthew is MY Mr. Darcy. Maybe if I had seen the other one first, it would be reversed. But he just grows on me throughout the movie. So serious at first and rather unattractive. But then a hint of a smile here, and then a laugh there. And then a "you have be-twixt me body and soul, and I love, I love, I love you." OHHH MY GOSH. that gets me everytime.

As I have said before, I don't even like chest hair, but him walking across the field with his open shirt and determined walk.

SWOONING.

Ok, I'm done now.

oooh. that description of that scene...ahhhh. hello mr. darcy. I really hope it works out that we get to spend some time there, especially at the forest. picture time!

I forgot to ask you earlier....if I do end up coming up the 3rd for that concert, do you think charlie could stay too? He's not sure if he can get away, but if he can, then obviously he wouldn't wanna drive back down at 1am. Let me know what you think.

Hope you enjoyed Gloria's tonight as much as I did...and will tomorrow with spinach enchiladas for lunch. yummy.

Okay, I'm willing to grant you your Darcy. Since you make such a good argument.

This is in reference to Lia's comment, which has totally distracted me from whatever else I was planning on saying:

"Oooooh, Colin Firth. He's soooooo pretty. Absolutely dreamy. Yum."

Don't you love how the mere mention of Colin Firth turns me into a blithering idiot?!

(But he's soooooooo pretty. And he's eyes! Don't even get me started on those!)

Hmmmmm is it too girly of me to say that it might actually be my all-time dream to have the two Mr. Darcy's fighting over me?

1. Thanks to this post, I am not reading P&P. WHAT AN AMAZING BOOK!!!! I am getting it in fragments (139!) via email from dailylit.com ! It's awesome.

2. You're into organic gardening, correct? Do you have a link or two to point me in the right direction? Because all of the websites I've looked at thus far tell me to use volcanic sand, expanded shale, dried molasses and coconut fiber in my planting beds. I don't know what these things are.... I just wanted to stop using "chemicals."

:-) Hope all is well with you.
