Cry, my beloved country

I guess you all have heard the devastating news of the terrorist attacks on my favorite of destinations. It is too early to tell the extent of the damage, or the amount of casualties. What is known, however, is that the city of London will never be the same. What a cowardly, vengeful act. To inflict terror and agony on others to support your "cause". I pray for the safety of my friends and family that live there. And for the swift capture and punishment of their assailants.

God save the Queen.

my BIL and SIL are stationed at Lakenheath, about 30 min from London by tube. they hardly ever go into the city, but we haven't heard from them yet.

this hits close to home for us, too, as we were just there last summer.

I know, it is very sad! More than I can even imagine...I don't even know what to say. There are no words.

Having had worked 13.5 hours today, I had not heard about the news until I just now read it on your site. Some people are just crazy, that's all I have to say. Have you tried emailing Kate and seeing what she knows about it?

And on a completely different note, I COMPLETELY understood what you meant by veggie. Maybe that's from the days of the veggie plate at Highland Park. And why would you ever want to eat meat from a cafeteria??? That seems almost as scary as the meat in an eggroll from a chinese food restaurant. sccarry.

Amanda Sue, I pray that your family is o.k. I emailed my friend Kate yesterday to see if she was o.k. I have not yet heard from her. I'm praying for them and for the many families affected.

My Sis (Anon.) and I were in London 2 years ago, and we stayed with Kate our last night there. How I love that place. It is all so sad.

who will call down these evil ones and tell them "stop, in Jesus name!" where are the faith filled, praying in concert, powerful chritians. I used to be one, I am on the road back I believe. It's time for God's people in the land if the free and the home of the brave, to take our stand, call evil, evil, and claim the victory for Jesus. What other Holy scripture has the book of Revelations? we KNOW Jesus wins this one!
