Rats!! (and mice!)

What a bummer. I buy a new digital camera, I take pictures galore, I move, and THEN I CAN'T FIND MY USB CORD!!! Can't.find.it.anywhere. I looked through the same two boxes no less than 3 times each last night. I found all the manuals, the CD, the battery pack, the A/V adapter, but the cord to put my precious pics on the computer? No siree bob. Rats! Rats! and more Rats! I am bummed. I wonder how much those things are. Hopefully not to much b/c I am ready to post some more pics. And empty my camera since it is chock full of favorite photos. Aren't you ready to see my 2 year old niece playing dress up at her birthday party? Sure you are! So, please be on the lookout for my adapter. PLEASE?

Ooooohh, I cannot stand when I lose something. I will drive myself crazy. One time, I put my wedding band in a safe place. (In other words, I hid it from myself) and I couldn't find it for four months! It is chock full of diamonds and was a wedding gift. So, it was sentimental too. (Those are the worst things to lose.) My husband woke up one night at like 4am, and i was rummaging through the closet. Looking for the ring. I found it a month later, in my cupboard!!

Did you pray? I always pray and tell God that I know he knows exactly where the thing I am lookin for is and to please reveal the location to me, and then I don't worry about it and a few minutes later, I have a thought and go look and there it is! I figure God cares even about the small things that concern me. I hope you find it soon!!

If you can't find your USB cable, you might want to invest in a media card reader. You can take the media card out of your camera, insert it into the reader, and then upload your photos that way. When you are done, you can then delete the images off your media card, and place it back in your camera. That's the way I upload my photos all the time, rather than connecting the camera to the computer.

Anyway, its an alternative you might use, if your camera USB cable ends up in the "socks lost in the clothes dryer zone".

LLL - I sure didn't. Thank you for the reminder.

RG- Thanks for the tip. I'm still a newbie on this stuff. I will see what I can find.

It probably costs as much as the camera. ;)

Go to Wal-Mart or other place that has a photo counter, and have them make a CD for you. Then you can erase your pics.

I am sitting here stewing over the fact that I forgot to get about 25 digital pics developed for VBS tomorrow. I did today's pics but not yesterday's. I manage the photo lab and yet I cannot seem to remember to do all my own pics!!!

I feel for you!
