HA! what is oregon trail day? that was the only one i didn't know.
also: jelly bracelets, blue eyeshadow, shirts that came off the shoulder on one side, those shirts that snapped in the crotch (my sister calls them grown-up-onesies), pop rocks and coke (what we DID TO OUR TEETH!), and hair that was shaved under our ponytails.
Holy crap! EVERYTHING on that list was DEAD ON! Can I steal this please??? :o)
By the way, I not only had GarbagePail Kids trading cards, I saw the movie!

AS - I never played Oregon Trail, but I remember what the cover looked like. It was an old computer game. Oh, and they were called Bodysuits.
Jelly bracelets, jelly shoes. I remember that my feet would get all sweaty wearing jellies, and even get blisters, but I still wore them. I had both styles, the big pattern that looked like "C" and the tight woven pattern. I think I still remember how to twist the jelly bracelets to wear two colors instead of one. Ah, the memories.
and they forgot JAMS! Remember Jams? I had the Jams knockoffs. Man, those were some ugly shorts.
