On Saturday I was driving and listening to the radio when George Strait's "Texas" came on the radio. As I was listening, I saw a huge Texas flag flying in the breeze. It truly was a beautiful sight. If you've never heard the song, it's worth hearing! Here's the lyrics....

This reminds me of when I was in college at A&M. I was sitting around with my friend, and for some reason I mentioned that I didn't like country music (I do like SOME of it, I'm just not a big fan), and that I didn't care for George Strait.
Complete silence--nothing but crickets chirping in the background. They just couldn't believe it.
But that sounds like a great song, because I do love Texas.
