All Dressed Up, Some Place To Go

Last night, K-T, Cat, Eddo, and I went to a banquet. We were all dressed up so I had to seize the moment and take pictures. (of course)

Brian wasn't able to go, but he took our picture before we headed off.

Eddo arrived directly from his GQ photo shoot. And thought he was still there, evidently.

All spiffed up.

It was a very nice evening, with a delicious dinner and great fellowship. After seeing this photo last night, K-T referred to herself as the albino of the group. The rest of us happen all happen to be multi-racial, therefore blessed in the pigment deparment.

I am the albino of the group. Gosh the light reflecting off my pale skin is almost shocking and blinding.

But we all look good, so I am a well dressed albino.

KT, I think you looked particularily beautiful; luminescent, ridiculously shiny locks and all :)

Hahaha. I'm so used to being the only darkie, I don't realize it when we're dominating over the not-so-pigment-blessed group. Fun pics too! (not so fun when being taken, but always fun after!) :)

"Darkie"? Cat that made me laugh out loud and almost spit Dr Pepper on my computer screen.

"Not-so-pigment-blessed" yep that's the nice way to put it. I'm a NSPB.

You all look fab, but AmCol, your necklace ROCKS!!!

Also, Katie, I am always the albino in any group. It's surprising to see pics of me and I ask people if I am ALWAYS that pale. Yes. Yes I am.

Thanks for the complement on my necklace Jayleigh! I actually received several complements on it last night!

Story behind it, twice a year, a vendor comes to our building and has a jewelry sale. They have their "nice" jewelry ($10 and way up) for half off. Then the have bins and bins AND BINS of jewelry for $1. So it was perfect timing that the sale was yesterday. I found the necklace and the earrings as a matching set for $1. I liked it even more then! I got three bracelets for $1 that I was wearing as well. No worries, I didn't stop at $2!!!

Oooohhhhh I love jewelry! I don't wear much to work these days because I don't want to get it caught on anything and ruined. Plus it's so not cool when things break and fall into the chemical vats of the photo lab. Yikes!

Anyway, the necklace is PERFECT on you.

Ummm... this coming from the one ultra-blogger that doesn't have a camera - where are the new pictures? Amstaff, this is so not like you, no new post at 7AM? No comments? Are you feeling okay? Is everything alright? I am worried!
