Stolen from Tracey
Tracey did a meme yesterday, and since I haven't done one in awhile, I thought I'd give it a shot...
An average American apparently does all of the following things. See if you are average:
– Eats peanut butter at least once a week - More like once a year. I like peanuts, but not PBJ's. The only time I eat it is between ritz crackers that have been covered in melted candy bark, at Christmas. yummmm.
– Prefers smooth peanut butter over chunky - I would eat crunchy if I ate it.
– Can name all Three Stooges - Um, I never watched them. Curly, Moe and who?
– Lives within a 20-minute drive of a Wal-Mart - Yes, but I avoid it at all costs.
– Eats at McDonald’s at least once a year - Once every other year, if that. I did an experiment once. I bought a plain Hamburger, no ketchup or anything, just meat and bread and put it in my pantry for a year. It never went bad. It was hard as rock, but still looked and smelled like a hamburger, just a little bit smaller. The meat didn't spoil, the bread didn't mold. This was way before Super Size Me too.
– Takes a shower for approximately 10.4 minutes a day - Sometimes more, most of the time, less.
– Never sings in the shower - Pretty accurate. I used to have a shower radio and would end up singing with it. But I don't anymore so no more singing for me.
– Lives in a house, not an apartment or condominium - House.
– Has a home valued between $100,000 and $300,000 - Yes.
– Has fired a gun - Yes, and I'm pretty dang good at it too.
– Is between 5 feet and 6 feet tall- Yes, but neither one of my parents are.
– Weighs 135 to 205 pounds - Yes.
– Is between the ages of 18 and 53 - Yes, again.
– Believes gambling is an acceptable entertainment option - I like Vegas, but I only spend like $5 gambling. It's just not my thing. Maybe I'm too cheap.
– Grew up within 50 miles of current home - It's probably right at 50 miles.
I guess I'm not the average American, but close enough.

Commentary:
- I have an irrational fear of fast food. I cannot remember the last time I ate at McDonalds (or any food joint that has a drive-thru for that matter).
- I'm with you on the chunky peanut butter thing. Only difference is that I LOVE PB&Js. Sandwich of champions (or people who cannot afford lunch foods other than PB&J)!
- I’m going out on a limb here…but, I’m assuming that you do not find chocolate covered peanut butter THE-ABSOLUTE-BEST-THING-IN-THE-WHOLE-WIDE-WONDERFUL-WORLD? Oh, well…more for me!
- Where is Wal-Mart? I live near multiple Targets, but I seem to be lacking in the Wally-World department.
Interesting questions, not sure I would be average either.
