Don't Forget

To pray for our troops. I received an email today referring me to a website. It's actually a blog that contains emails from Chaplains serving in Iraq. It was a powerful reminder to pray for our troops and the chaplains that minister to them. The blog is http://ifcachaplain.blogspot.com/ if you want to check it out.

Hear, hear. Full agreement. Let's not forget those who, while far in distance, are working for us and should remain close in spirit.

Thanks for the reminder, Amstaff. Although I remember to pray for the troops a few times a week, a quick mumbled prayer for "the men and women serving overseas" isn't really enough. Now that I have faces and names, it will be easier to remember to pray.

Thanks for passing this on...... Excellent reminder..... We have a close friend over there and he said in an email that the Iraqis are so thankful that we are there even though that is not what the media is saying.....

thanks for the reminder and the link. Hope you have a wonderful day in the Lord!, and tell Cat we said hello!

Eddo called today and said he was on his way to Pennsylvania with Tom Nelson for a Song of Soloman conference. Man I get jealous of all you guys going on trips and doing things while I am stuck here working.

Coming home on the plane from Pennsylvania there were a lot of troops. I always want to stop and say "THANKS" but I never can - I have so much respect for those men and women.
