Planes, Trains & Automobiles
Well, I'm back in the land of Tejas after enjoying daily temps of 75-80 degrees in the NE. I did my fair share of Planes (4 flights), Trains (Metro-North and NYC Subways) and Automobiles (2 rentals and 2 car services rides) in a 4 day period. It was a smorgasboard of airports and hotels and experiences.
Favorite quotes while on my journey:
"I'm SO SORRY my car is SO HOT. I'm about to DIE it's so HOT OUTSIDE!!!! " (This from my friend in NY when it was approx. 80 degrees outside). I made her swear not to come to Texas in the next 2-3 months.
"I'm just sitting around, waiting for my flight". (This quote was provided by the lady in the bathroom stall next to me while she was talking to her friend on her cell phone.) She had called the lady right when she began "sitting around". Yeah lady, sitting on the pot, that is.
I delivered three presentations while on my trip, but also managed to do a little bit of shopping, and a quick voyage into NYC when I arrived in White Plains on an earlier flight. I got to enjoy my favorite sandwich (the Chicavo from Lenny's) and scarfed it while sitting in Central Park. NICE.
So now that I'm back, I at least have a few photos to remind me of the trip, and of last week's to Florida. I'm off to California next week. yea!

St. Pete Beach, my own backyard. Wish I'd known you were coming and could've got ahold of you while you were here! I make a great tourguide.
Awww, sad. I didn't know that you lived there. I ate at Hurricane's by myself. sniff.
Preeety pictures. I esp like the one in GCS. very cool. I hear yall didn't end up going to the bike race after all. tsk tsk tsk. :)
Oh such cute feet!!! Looks like you had fun!
All that in 4 days? Quite the whirlwind of a trip. I love the pic from Central Park.
wow, now I want to see the rest of the thousands of pics I know you took
girls night? soon?
YEAH! That last one is the one you called me about! I love it.
Sorry I haven't been very communicative lately, but that doesn't mean I haven't appreciated all the updates. I'm ready for a game night and we have so much to catch up on. Once you get into your routine then we need to plan something.
Hugs!
