Breathtaking
Please go take a look at this slideshow. I don't think I'm the only one fascinated by what is not normally seen by the naked eye. One of the things I love most about camp is lying on a raft at night in the lake and gazing up at the stars. There's not alot of light pollution at camp and it's amazing what we miss living near a big city. These photos give us a glimpse of what we normally can't see. I can't even begin to imagine how much more He has created. And I will see it one day!
So, for your viewing pleasure, check this out. And while you gaze upon the stars, remember these verses...
Genesis 1:16 - God made two great lights—the greater light to govern the day and the lesser light to govern the night. He also made the stars.
(I love how it's so matter of fact, almost like an oh yeah, and He made the stars too.)
Genesis 15:5 - "Look up at the heavens and count the stars—if indeed you can count them."
Job 26:13 - By his breath the skies became fair; his hand pierced the gliding serpent.
Psalm 8:3-4 - When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is man that you are mindful of him, the son of man that you care for him?
(this is my personal favorite. I think I need a good humbling now and then )
Psalm 33:6 - By the word of the LORD were the heavens made, their starry host by the breath of his mouth.
Amos 5:8 - he who made the Pleiades and Orion, who turns blackness into dawn and darkens day into night, who calls for the waters of the sea and pours them out over the face of the land—the LORD is his name-
I Corinthians 15:41 - The sun has one kind of splendor, the moon another and the stars another; and star differs from star in splendor

OK I've been sitting here for 20 minutes gazing at those awesome pics!!! Thank you for sharing and thanks for the snippets from scripture.
God is so amazing. My words fail to adequately say what I want them to... but you know what I mean.
