Skewl

Bah! I am currently in the "I've got way too many tests to take in the next two weeks" phase of school.

2 tests today
1 test Thursday
3 tests Tuesday
3 tests Thursday.

Yes, three final exams with 3 parts each. Glory be! I need some serious prayers people. I need to be able to concentrate, remember, and of all times for me to have my right hand hurting for some unknown reason! I think it's scared. Please pray for my right hand!

Anyone want to practice signing with me? Pwease?

Good luck! I so do not miss that aspect of this time of year. I hope your exams - and studying - go well. Lots and lots of coffee!

Oh, heavens! You will be in our prayers. Hang in there! You know you can do it!

Oh, poor Amstaff! I can practice signing "where's the toilet?", "coffee", and "what?" with you. That's all I know...and I only know "coffee" because you taught it to me.

Also, keep praying and have faith . Did I ever tell you about my GRE scores? Well, I don't usually do well on standardized tests (and ick, now that I'm taking statistics, "standardized" has a new, unpleasant meaning to me), but I had to get certain minimum scores to get into grad school. So I prayed about it, JLR prayed about it, and our friend HMC prayed about it. And also I studied A LOT.

During the exam, I reached some math sections I didn't know how to do and at first I started to freak out, but very quickly my mind shifted gears. "All right, God," I said. "I don't know how to do this, so you're just going to have to do it for me. Tell me the answers."

I did very well on the exam. I won't say genius level, but very well. Much better than I've ever done on standardized tests. So keep praying, trust God, and have faith.

Uh, I could practice signing with you, but I can't promise you'd understand anything I was saying.

Good luck! I'll be thinking and praying for you (so will Gypsy Kitty)!

I'd love to practice with you, however too much time has passed (and I've forgotten too much) for me to be of any help. Unless, like RR said, you need help with "toilet", "coffee" and/or "what". I'm also good with "car", "plane" and "crash". :P

Many, many thanks for your words of encouragement, offerings of signing "coffee" and, most importantly, your prayers.

I finished 2 of the tests yesterday, and feel very good about 1, pretty good about the other but not sure. The written portion will tomorrow, so I'm kinda nervous about that. These 3 tests are my complete grade to test out of ASL I and will be what is entered on my transcript. AUGH!

Thank you again, y'all are great friends.

Practice signing? I don't know how to sign so how does one practice? Do you just sign when you talk to Brian all the time now?
